Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 27, 2026

Kinthea is a personal relationship tool. Privacy is core to what we build. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. Within the app, you may add notes, events, and other personal context about your relationships — this is your data. We also collect basic usage analytics (pages visited, browser type, general usage patterns) to help us improve the product. No personally identifiable information from your relationship notes is shared with analytics services.

How your data is stored

Your data is stored securely on our servers. We do not sell your data. We do not share your relationship notes with third parties.

Cookies

We use cookies for authentication (to keep you logged in) and for analytics. You can disable analytics cookies via your browser settings or a cookie consent tool. Disabling auth cookies will sign you out.

Third-party services

We use third-party services for analytics and infrastructure. These services may collect usage data such as IP address and browser type. We do not share your personal relationship data with any third party.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently removes your account and all associated data from our servers. Locally stored data can be cleared from your device's browser storage.

Children's privacy

Kinthea is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Kinthea after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
